Véronique (Véro) Chiasson is a bilingual Occupational Therapist who has extensive experience in supporting families of young children with autism, as a clinician and an educator, using evidence-based interventions. Véro qualified to become the world’s first French speaking instructor to train and certify individuals in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a comprehensive naturalistic developmental behavioural early intervention approach for children autism or sign of autism aged 12 to 48 months. She has trained hundreds of francophone professionals and parents around the world. Véro is also a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa’s Occupational Therapy Program as well as at Collège La Cité in the Occupational Therapy Assistant and Assistant Physiotherapy Program.
Véro is one of the founders of the QuickStart Early Years Partnership, an Early Intervention Provider, and the Francophone Lead in charge of the Quality Assurance of our French Language Services.
